This World Environment Day, we recognize that the ecological crisis is a political crisis driven by war, militarization, corporate greed, and the relentless extraction of natural resources. 

The ongoing genocide in Palestine, escalating military confrontations involving the United States and Iran, and conflicts across the world demonstrate how imperialist wars destroy ecosystems, displace communities, and is also a fight for control of land, water bodies, minerals, and strategic natural resources. 

On this World Environment Day, Friends of the Earth India stands in solidarity with people’s movements across the world and reaffirms that ecological justice can only be achieved through peace, democracy, community sovereignty, and resistance to all systems of exploitation and oppression.

Resist Imperialism.

Resist Fascism.

Resist Corporate Power.
